The throw-in from Celestino Sayvion in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Säfvahöjden's Oskar Hääger. After some careless play in the Club El Progreso defense, Pan Yan Rong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Milei. The Club El Progreso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Milei should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Pan Yan Rong came free, but Javier Milei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Tolsson's late challenge caught a Säfvahöjden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ted Tolsson helped the player get up and apologised. Joel Classon hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With his leg Javier Milei managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Säfvahöjden's Joel Classon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41st minute, Joel Classon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Sayvion made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Delfim Cordobé immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Säfvahöjden getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Nolberto Solano hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Classon made a kick off. Javier Milei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Classon's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Javier Milei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Classon in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Pan Yan Rong notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Club El Progreso's Javier Milei. Pan Yan Rong scored 5-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Milei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Säfvahöjden's Ragnar Öfverman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Higinio Fernanco, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Pan Yan Rong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Milei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Szczepan Adamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Cordobé, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pan Yan Rong in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Milei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club El Progreso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Federico Chiesa was slow to take the kick. During this time Säfvahöjden's players had a chance to rest. Club El Progreso were furious when Elano Rojo was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Säfvahöjden booed when Club El Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Rojo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
