The crowd rose to their feet as Remo Pürro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moisés da Silveira. That made the score 4-0 in the 22 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Patryk Banaszak took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Moisés da Silveira to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Olympique Fribourg's Remo Pürro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Moisés da Silveira. That made the score 6-0 after 28 minutes of play. Grêmio Papão de WC's Hílton Prata was substituted for Norberto Quadros. Grêmio Papão de WC's Dadá Amorim was substituted for Alberto Reis. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when Grêmio Papão de WC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remo Pürro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-0 in the 38th playminute. Dadá Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dadá Amorim to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Mich Batshuayi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moisés da Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 60 minutes into the game, August Ehrenbolger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Fribourg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio Papão de WC the free kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moisés da Silveira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Grêmio Papão de WC's Moisés da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mich Batshuayi in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Grêmio Papão de WC defense, Mich Batshuayi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moisés da Silveira. The Grêmio Papão de WC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés da Silveira should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mich Batshuayi in the 73rd minute of play forced Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Moisés da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Mateo Esiquio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moisés da Silveira. Grêmio Papão de WC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Esiquio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. In the 78th minute, Mateo Esiquio made a precise shot to the right of Moisés da Silveira. Grêmio Papão de WC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. A collision led to Grêmio Papão de WC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luiz Maia hit a great ball. Moisés da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Pürro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moisés da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute Olympique Fribourg were awarded a corner. Bruno Steiner went to the cornerflag to take it. Moisés da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Steiner in the 99th minute of play. Olympique Fribourg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
