Carlos Alberto de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hitz Garzon hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Gabon Pedriza made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Miguel. Futbol Club RRFV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club RRFV's Dedê Freire got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Zoel Abancens notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel. Fernando Miguel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gabon Pedriza came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Pampas Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabon Pedriza couldn't finish the play. Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veremundo Leyva in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Zoel Abancens notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel. Fernando Miguel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabon Pedriza to make the kick off. Hitz Garzon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 50th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Carlos Alberto de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patxi Olmos having to interfere. Fernando Miguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veremundo Leyva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabon Pedriza in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Miguel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. César Brito hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Diamantino Senna hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club RRFV's zone, Hitz Garzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Miguel came out of the goal and Hitz Garzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Zoel Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veremundo Leyva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Fernando Miguel made a huge save. Dorival do Vale hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Diamantino Senna hit a great ball. After 70 minutes, Diamantino Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futbol Club RRFV and the Pampas Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna got a free kick in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabon Pedriza got free with Fernando Miguel in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd match minute, Pampas Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veremundo Leyva to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Gabon Pedriza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Miguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Pombal to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pampas Team's Veremundo Leyva got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Jacinto Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 81 minutes, Hitz Garzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pampas Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hitz Garzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute Carlos Alberto de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patxi Olmos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Alberto de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Patxi Olmos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patxi Olmos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 91 minutes Pampas Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dedê Freire who took care of the corner kick. In the 92nd minute, Carlos Alberto de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veremundo Leyva scored 0-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Miguel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pampas Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
