Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Alberto de Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Veremundo Leyva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fernando Miguel made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabon Pedriza got free with Fernando Miguel in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Miguel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabon Pedriza in the 8th minute. Gabon Pedriza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fernando Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pampas Team getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pelayo Izaguirre hit a great ball. When Dorival do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futbol Club RRFV's protests and gave Dorival do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pampas Team booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Miguel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tabor Ibanez's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Patxi Olmos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 25th minute of play. When Tabor Ibanez fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pampas Team's protests and gave Tabor Ibanez a yellow card for diving instead. When Veremundo Leyva came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pampas Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veremundo Leyva couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel got control of the ball when Gabon Pedriza tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabon Pedriza to strike the kick off in the second half. Patxi Olmos came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna. But to his dismay, Diamantino Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Fernando Miguel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Pampas Team getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Veremundo Leyva hit a great ball. Patxi Olmos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 70th minute of the match. Veremundo Leyva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fernando Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pampas Team's Gabon Pedriza got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Pampas Team's goalkeeper Patxi Olmos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto de Sousa. In the 80th minute Veremundo Leyva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Miguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veremundo Leyva in the 82nd minute of play. Fernando Miguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabon Pedriza in the 85th minute of play. Gabon Pedriza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Miguel having to interfere. The Futbol Club RRFV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Futbol Club RRFV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
