A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Murillo Viana with Cacá de Amorim as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 5th match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Eskilsson to maneuver through the defense. Valter Klack made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Válbson Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Félix in the 7th minute of play. Carlinhos Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlinhos Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 11th minute of play forced Cadu Team's goalkeeper Bernardo Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlinhos Félix in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlinhos Félix in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Sousa saved Cadu Team from getting behind. Cadu Team's attentive Murillo Viana managed to snatch the ball when Stig Eskilsson made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Stig Eskilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Carlinhos Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Sousa having to make a save. Bernardo Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes of play, Here Comes the Hammer's Hasse Brasse made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Cadu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Hasse Brasse came free, but Bernardo Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bernardo Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Sanches. In the 46th minute, Ciro Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Murillo Viana made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Here Comes the Hammer's Stig Eskilsson. In the 58th minute Carlinhos Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 66th minute of play forced Cadu Team's goalkeeper Bernardo Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Klack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 86th minute Carlinhos Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hugo Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cadu Team's protests and gave Hugo Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Hugo Alcântara hit a great ball. The supporters of Cadu Team booed when Here Comes the Hammer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Niemoj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Here Comes the Hammer's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
