Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kenny Siöberg kicked off to start the match. A sloppy throw-in by Billie Verbraecken in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brothers of Mercy's Nevada Sierra. Nevada Sierra charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nevada Sierra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Brothers of Mercy got a freekick which was hit by Nevada Sierra. When Kenny Siöberg came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Brothers of Mercy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenny Siöberg couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Gert-Jan Van de Velde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in De Keikoppers's zone, Kenny Siöberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert-Jan Van de Velde came out of the goal and Kenny Siöberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for De Keikoppers! When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Brothers of Mercy's Mats Elg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gert-Jan Van de Velde. Harry Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Naets in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Kobe Vanneste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve De kaiser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert-Jan Van de Velde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvin Lundkvist in the 40th minute of the match. Gert-Jan Van de Velde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvin Lundkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Brothers of Mercy getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jan Sundström hit a great ball. De Keikoppers's Erwin Naets got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steve De kaiser made a kick off. Nevada Sierra was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nevada Sierra kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Brothers of Mercy's Harry Vedholm got control of the ball when Steve De kaiser tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Siöberg in the 57th minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Gert-Jan Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert-Jan Van de Velde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvin Lundkvist's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Arvin Lundkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Keikoppers's Gert-Jan Van de Velde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvin Lundkvist in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gert-Jan Van de Velde saved De Keikoppers from getting behind. After 63 played minutes De Keikoppers got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Van den Berghe. With a little luck, Brothers of Mercy's Harry Vedholm got control of the ball when Erwin Naets tried to sneak it across the goal line. Birger Ekelund hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve De kaiser got free with Harry Vedholm in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harry Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kobe Vanneste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Billie Verbraecken during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Billie Verbraecken hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Mats Elg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gert-Jan Van de Velde showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. De Keikoppers's Gert-Jan Van de Velde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Siöberg in the 90th minute of play. Kenny Siöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gert-Jan Van de Velde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brothers of Mercy fans cheered their team off the field, for while De Keikoppers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
