Maximino Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Merentiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Alcântara in the 10th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Bernardo Sazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes of play, Frontera AFC's Severino Cucao made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Constancio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute of the match, Fred Alcântara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Sazon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Maximino Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edison Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Frontera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Aresti. Bernardo Sazon made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Fred Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Alberto Márcico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Club Deportivo Álvarez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Hvalica didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Cucao came free, but Maximino Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edison Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Club Deportivo Álvarez got a freekick which was hit by Erik Balogh. 43 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Márcico came free, but Maximino Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes Club Deportivo Álvarez's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Márcico who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Frontera AFC's corner Alberto Márcico fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maximino Constancio quite easily take care of the ball. Mauro Oinatz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Oinatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximino Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edison Cavani in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edison Cavani was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Frontera AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lucas Blondel hit a great ball. Lucas Blondel charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Blondel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Lucas Blondel got a free kick in the 55th minute. Alberto Márcico kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jonas Gilen in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximino Constancio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 61 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Oinatz came free, but Bernardo Sazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Álvarez defense, Severino Cucao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Constancio. The Club Deportivo Álvarez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Constancio should have stopped the shot. Guillermo Manilan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximino Constancio was a little too slow when Edison Cavani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-3. Jonas Gilen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 81st playminute. 85 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goalkeeper Maximino Constancio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Cucao. Maximino Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Aguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 88 minutes, Miguel Merentiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frontera AFC and the Club Deportivo Álvarez players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Frontera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Merentiel. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Maximino Constancio got control of the ball when Jonas Gilen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frontera AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
