Kroton F.C.'s Elia Losito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Manilan in the 2nd minute of play. After 7 played minutes Club Deportivo Álvarez got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Manilan. In the 11th minute, Erik Balogh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elia Losito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match Club Deportivo Álvarez got a corner. Kroton F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fred Alcântara ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kroton F.C.'s Elia Losito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Silviano in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Kroton F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Zangari to maneuver through the defense. Erik Balogh scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elia Losito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elia Losito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Concetto Di Giulio got free with Maximino Constancio in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Erik Balogh got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Alexander Granato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kroton F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo Álvarez the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Alexander Granato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Kroton F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Deportivo Álvarez:s goal. Kroton F.C.:s Elia Losito showed great skill when he stopped Fred Alcântara:s penalty. In the 41st minute, Victor Incendio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Club Deportivo Álvarez were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felice Di Federico was the one to do the kick off. Concetto Di Giulio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Constancio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Elia Losito made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Fred Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Epifanio Silviano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Elia Losito made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Guillermo Manilan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elia Losito. Elia Losito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Bebur Levidze kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebur Levidze to maneuver through the defense. Davide Zangari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Balogh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elia Losito having to make a save. When Alexander Granato came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Kroton F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Granato couldn't finish the play. Club Deportivo Álvarez made a substitution. Baltasar Ladio replaced Bebur Levidze. In the 85th minute, Kroton F.C.'s Ercole Di Febo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ercole Di Febo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kroton F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ercole Di Febo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ercole Di Febo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Club Deportivo Álvarez made a substitution. Alejo Ereinotz replaced Henrik Larsson. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Deportivo Álvarez's Alejo Ereinotz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elia Losito. That made the score 0-6 after 90 minutes of play.
