Jerzy Drzewucki scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Constancio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmund Hoffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Balogh in the 15th minute of the match. The throw-in from Bebur Levidze in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Warren FC - DMZ's Hélio Nascimento. 19 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Bermudo came free, but Maximino Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Drzewucki to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Bebur Levidze in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Warren FC - DMZ's Geovani Aguiar. Erik Balogh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Edmund Hoffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Oinatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Drzewucki might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Constancio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Drzewucki ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Drzewucki came free, but Maximino Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ladislao Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Constancio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jerzy Drzewucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Drzewucki in the 38th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Álvarez's goalkeeper Maximino Constancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Jerzy Drzewucki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximino Constancio. Club Deportivo Álvarez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerzy Drzewucki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Warren FC - DMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Club Deportivo Álvarez's Maximino Constancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Álvarez from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute of the match, Jerzy Drzewucki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maximino Constancio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Maximino Constancio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Maximino Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Drzewucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Warren FC - DMZ's Hélio Nascimento was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Constancio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 72nd match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Maximino Constancio managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Warren FC - DMZ's Jerzy Drzewucki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute Jerzy Drzewucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Club Deportivo Álvarez's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hélio Nascimento took the corner. Maximino Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Warren FC - DMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
