The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 8 minutes, Cipriano Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Chuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejo Weterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Veselko Recko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AZURDUY F.C.'s Maximino Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidko Bižal in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Roque Reno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Veselko Recko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Pudes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match AZURDUY F.C. got a corner. NK FOLKROLA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amador Hitzeder ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 46th minute, Cipriano Chuan made a precise shot to the right of Veselko Recko. NK FOLKROLA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vidko Bižal to strike the kick off in the second half. When Cirilo Martinez fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Cirilo Martinez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Martinez to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes NK FOLKROLA got a freekick which was hit by Bore Ristič. When NK FOLKROLA's Vidko Bižal in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AZURDUY F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 72 played minutes NK FOLKROLA got a freekick which was hit by Silvo Puh. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Cipriano Chuan a yellow card for diving instead. Vidko Bižal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Millan having to interfere. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Roque Reno hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Alejo Weterio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alejo Weterio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Veselko Recko made a huge save. Alejo Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veselko Recko having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AZURDUY F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
