Maximino Constancio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Club Deportivo Álvarez getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Henrik Larsson hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Amador Hitzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AZURDUY F.C.'s Maximino Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Manilan in the 18th minute of play. Henrik Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Alejo Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Alejo Weterio managed to get in a good position for a shot. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Weterio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Constancio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Pudes during the 30th minute.
