The crowd rose to their feet as Frontera AFC's Miguel Merentiel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elia Losito. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. 8 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Elia Losito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Merentiel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edison Cavani in the 15th minute of play forced Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Elia Losito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elia Losito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edison Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Federico Balboni kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes of play, Frontera AFC's Miguel Merentiel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elia Losito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frontera AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alberto Márcico in the 23rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Elia Losito successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Gilen got free with Elia Losito in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elia Losito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Aresti in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Benigno Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Losito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Merentiel scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elia Losito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kroton F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberto Márcico was slow to take the kick. During this time Frontera AFC's players had a chance to rest. Frontera AFC's Alberto Márcico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elia Losito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Kroton F.C.'s Elia Losito got control of the ball when Miguel Merentiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kroton F.C.'s zone, Edison Cavani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Losito came out of the goal and Edison Cavani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Ernesto Margoni made the kick off in the second half. Severino Cucao took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elia Losito. Elia Losito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 60th minute Edison Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Losito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frontera AFC's Silvestre Solustiano was substituted for Isidoro Lluis. A collision led to Frontera AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alberto Márcico hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Davide Zangari got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Sazon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elia Losito came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Frontera AFC's Miguel Merentiel. But to his dismay, Miguel Merentiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Frontera AFC made a substitution. Brian Aguirre replaced Edison Cavani. 83 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Merentiel came free, but Elia Losito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes Frontera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Merentiel. Bernardo Sazon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Celli in the 91st minute. Camillo Tellini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Bernardo Sazon made a huge save. Corrado Ascani kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Miguel Merentiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frontera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Merentiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Losito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Frontera AFC fully deserved thier win.
