San Mauro A Mare FC's Anselmo Costacurta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimír Adam in the 3rd minute of play. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Marsili in the 5th minute of play. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Pittelli in the 8th minute of play. Anselmo Costacurta came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Chorchoj's Marek Fiřt. But to his dismay, Marek Fiřt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anselmo Costacurta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Fiřt in the 12th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Herbert Konečný hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Mauro A Mare FC's Aldo Amicone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jaroslav Mlejnek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute Dave Pittelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Mlejnek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Marsili in the 37th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimír Adam made a kick off. San Mauro A Mare FC's Anselmo Costacurta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Fiřt in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Marsili in the 66th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Jaroslav Mlejnek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Dave Pittelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Mlejnek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Aurelio Benarrivo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Costacurta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radko Mikulenka in the 84th minute of play. Jaroslav Mlejnek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Marsili in the 87th minute of play. Herbert Konečný hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Aldo Amicone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carter Marsili hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the San Mauro A Mare FC defense, Marek Fiřt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Costacurta. The San Mauro A Mare FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Costacurta should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in San Mauro A Mare FC's zone, Vladimír Adam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Costacurta came out of the goal and Vladimír Adam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Chorchoj fans cheered their team off the field, for while San Mauro A Mare FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
