Claudinho Zonta hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Rui Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cüneyt İltemur. Rui Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doğaner Türev in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, ѕєηαтσякσвяα's Ergincan Sertaçgil got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Enrique Pires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but İskender Baki Atasagun skillfully saved the ball. Rui Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ata Tanaltan in the 17th minute. Aytunç Orhon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Rui Varela made a huge save. Doğaner Türev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Rui Varela made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aytunç Orhon got free with Rui Varela in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rui Varela was a little too slow when Doğaner Türev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 33rd minute Armando Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İskender Baki Atasagun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Baran Erenoz scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aytunç Orhon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ata Tanaltan in the 43rd minute of play. Rui Varela was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Ata Tanaltan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ata Tanaltan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dino Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, ѕєηαтσякσвяα's Aytunç Orhon made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rui Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anıl Baran Erenoz went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, Doğaner Türev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 64 minutes into the game, Ata Tanaltan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Rui Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Aytunç Orhon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ѕєηαтσякσвяα fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 73 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Doğaner Türev came free, but Rui Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Doğaner Türev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ѕєηαтσякσвяα booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Dudu Negri got a free kick in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Anıl Baran Erenoz notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğaner Türev in the 87th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Rui Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Ergincan Sertaçgil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Ahmet Gündüz Çubuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ѕєηαтσякσвяα's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio FBPA the free kick. Rui Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ata Tanaltan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ѕєηαтσякσвяα walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
