The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when Justicialista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A wasted opportunity for U. de Tarapacá. 15 minutes into the game, Pedro Nataniel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Justicialista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U. de Tarapacá the free kick. A collision led to Justicialista FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alam Brito in the 17th minute of play forced Justicialista FC's goalkeeper Conrado Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvis Nieto took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Guillelmus. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blanco Paris to make the kick off.
