Hurricanes FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Valério Paranaense scored to the left of an out of position Camille Lagrange, making the score, 1-0. In the 7th minute, A A Arizona's Luís Fabiano Branco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Camille Lagrange was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Valério Paranaense capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valério Paranaense really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Pedro Luís Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Luís Fabiano Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camille Lagrange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Luís Fabiano Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camille Lagrange was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 27 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Branco came free, but Camille Lagrange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A A Arizona's Rodolfo Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Tuttle in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, A A Arizona's Valério Paranaense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. In the 37th match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Branco to maneuver through the defense. Camille Lagrange didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Paranaense went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Camille Lagrange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hurricanes FC defense, Chicão Freire kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camille Lagrange. The Hurricanes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camille Lagrange should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Hurricanes FC's Camille Lagrange got control of the ball when Pedro Luís Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.
In the 51st minute, Luís Fabiano Branco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A A Arizona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Camille Lagrange didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Paranaense went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Camille Lagrange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Paranaense in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Branco to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes Hurricanes FC got a freekick which was hit by Joe Shaffer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Paranaense in the 62nd minute of play forced Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Camille Lagrange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roosevelt Frederick kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Pedro Luís Bertassi took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camille Lagrange. Camille Lagrange dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Camille Lagrange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Branco to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Luís Fabiano Branco made a precise shot to the right of Camille Lagrange. Hurricanes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Rudy Tuttle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Siqueira having to interfere. Roosevelt Frederick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Siqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Valério Paranaense made a precise shot to the right of Camille Lagrange. Hurricanes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. 86 minutes into the match, Valério Paranaense notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Hurricanes FC's Camille Lagrange. Camille Lagrange was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89 played minutes A A Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Branco. With 91 minutes on the clock, Rony Barros commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 91st minute, one of A A Arizona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A A Arizona. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Hurricanes FC. Roosevelt Frederick stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rodolfo Siqueira. 14-1. In the 98th minute Roosevelt Frederick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A A Arizona had played much better football throughout.
