The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Adrian Petre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camille Lagrange was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 7th minute, Joe Shaffer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hurricanes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The Rasnita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Adrian Petre scored 3-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camille Lagrange, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrian Petre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camille Lagrange read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Iosif Doicaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camille Lagrange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camille Lagrange made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Petre in the 26th minute. Roosevelt Frederick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Boldișor having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Cazimir Daraban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camille Lagrange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Dacian in the 33rd minute of the match. Hurricanes FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Iosif Doicaru scored to the left of an out of position Camille Lagrange, making the score, 4-1. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Augustin Tănăsie took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Camille Lagrange to make any attempt to save it. Camille Lagrange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Pârcălab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roosevelt Frederick to strike the kick off in the second half. Hurricanes FC's Camille Lagrange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Doicaru in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Matei Dacian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camille Lagrange was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 59 minutes into the game, Erwin Oneill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hurricanes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rasnita the free kick. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Hurricanes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Oneill didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Dacian in the 61st minute of play forced Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Camille Lagrange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camille Lagrange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Doicaru in the 63rd minute of the match. Rasnita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matei Dacian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Camille Lagrange, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Dacian came free, but Camille Lagrange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Iosif Doicaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rasnita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. When Dumitru Drăghici fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rasnita's protests and gave Dumitru Drăghici a yellow card for diving instead. Marius Pârcălab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camille Lagrange having to interfere. When Erwin Oneill was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. When the referee ended the match the Rasnita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
