The long shot by Alonso Venturino in the 13th minute really tested Matei Boldișor's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With an all-out effort, U. de Tarapacá's Matei Boldișor threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alam Brito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kåre Nochev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Tănăsie in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Cazimir Daraban got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Alam Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Doicaru. After 24 minutes, Blanco Paris made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rasnita's Matei Boldișor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, U. de Tarapacá's Blanco Paris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Boldișor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Matei Boldișor acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alonso Venturino. In the 34th minute, Blanco Larreta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Tănăsie in the 36th minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Kåre Nochev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Blanco Paris got a free kick in the 37th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

U. de Tarapacá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rasnita the free kick. U. de Tarapacá were furious when Sobah Zorrilla was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of U. de Tarapacá:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rasnita:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iosif Doicaru got free with Kåre Nochev in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Tănăsie came free, but Kåre Nochev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
