The audience thought a goal was coming when Thymios Kominidis got free with Faustino Markel in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Stratos Savouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fivos Daskalakis to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Bazellatin F.C. defense, Vinicio Reyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manos Voutsas. The Bazellatin F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Voutsas should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Stratos Savouras collided with one of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's players - so bad that he fractured his nose. Bazellatin F.C. made a substitution. Isidoros Tsartsikidis replaced Stratos Savouras. Jairo Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Jairo Oihenarte got a free kick in the 18th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Bazellatin F.C.'s Lambis Tournas tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Javier Gutxi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Danilo Chale notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bazellatin F.C.'s Manos Voutsas. Manos Voutsas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jairo Oihenarte hit a great ball. Delmar Erauso took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Voutsas. Manos Voutsas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Javier Gutxi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Benedito de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Erasto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Isidoros Tsartsikidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Vedillo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Thalis Sapakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manos Voutsas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Vedillo in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jairo Oihenarte hit a great ball. Bazellatin F.C.'s Manos Voutsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Erauso in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olimpo de Bahia Blanca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
