Mijdrecht Maffia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roger Rekers in the 4th minute. A nice corner shot did that Roger Rekers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Igor Dalmu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. O rey Iván's Igor Dalmu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save O rey Iván from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute of the match, Gert Smits tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Igor Dalmu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 12 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Smits came free, but Igor Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Azeari in the 18th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Gert Smits ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Dalmu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mirko Vervoort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Azeari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert Smits got free with Igor Dalmu in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Rein Roetering came free, but Igor Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. O rey Iván's Igor Dalmu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save O rey Iván from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goalkeeper Igor Dalmu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gert Smits. Igor Dalmu made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Jan Rein Roetering sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pieter de Zwart in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Dalmu saved O rey Iván from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Pieter de Zwart made a precise shot to the right of Igor Dalmu. O rey Iván's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Igor Dalmu made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Gert Smits sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gert Smits to make the kick off. When Mijdrecht Maffia's Gert Smits in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye O rey Iván's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Smits came free, but Igor Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Dalmu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter de Zwart in the 61st minute of the match. Igor Dalmu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Smits in the 62nd minute of play. Mijdrecht Maffia were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after O rey Iván's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Rekers took the corner. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Gert Smits put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Igor Dalmu. In the 76th minute, Pieter de Zwart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Igor Dalmu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Rein Roetering, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes, Luisito Abadie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the O rey Iván and the Mijdrecht Maffia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, O rey Iván's Luisito Abadie got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute Jan Rein Roetering shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Dalmu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Dalmu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter de Zwart in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Otto Genkenaar notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of O rey Iván's Igor Dalmu. Igor Dalmu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in O rey Iván's zone, Carel Thomasse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Dalmu came out of the goal and Carel Thomasse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. O rey Iván's Igor Dalmu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter de Zwart in the 94th minute of play. Igor Dalmu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Genkenaar in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Mijdrecht Maffia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
