The referee ignored CF Scalonetos's protests and gave Alejandro Artizar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Monia&Ibrahim booed when CF Scalonetos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Artizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cleto Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Monia&Ibrahim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Ekerot to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Alejandro Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Scalonetos's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Artizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Samuelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Monia&Ibrahim's goalkeeper Lennart Samuelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Frechoso. In the 20th match minute, Monia&Ibrahim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Ekerot to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Octavio Lesardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Kjellberg came free, but Ahmed Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Olof Kjellberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cleto Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Cleto Frechoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CF Scalonetos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 85th match minute, Monia&Ibrahim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Vallman to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monia&Ibrahim's goalkeeper Lennart Samuelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lennart Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
