Cleto Frechoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ove Simonsson having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Erubiel Cerilo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ove Simonsson. In the 11th minute, Patrick Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes, CF Scalonetos's Adan Galsino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ove Simonsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CF Scalonetos reached it. Ove Simonsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Frechoso's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Raul Jaizki hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Cerilo. Cleto Frechoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Alejandro Artizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Monia&Ibrahim's zone, Erubiel Cerilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Simonsson came out of the goal and Erubiel Cerilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Severino Restu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ove Simonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Artizar in the 57th minute of play forced Monia&Ibrahim's goalkeeper Ove Simonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Simonsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Frechoso in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Erubiel Cerilo got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Cleto Frechoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmed Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, CF Scalonetos's Cleto Frechoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Simonsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Lucio Abajas came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the CF Scalonetos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Abajas couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Vallman came free, but Ahmed Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CF Scalonetos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
