Albertus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Nordsjælland the free kick. Ed 冯义兴 hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Albertus FC's Ted Kamps ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henning Sæmer. Henning Sæmer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed 冯义兴 in the 14th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Sæmer made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Frits Platvoet sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer got control of the ball when Frits Platvoet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henning Sæmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Kamps, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Ed 冯义兴 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frits Platvoet. 25 minutes into the game, Ed 冯义兴 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Henning Sæmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Pablo Bernhoft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gert Hebert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albertus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gert Hebert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Sæmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henning Sæmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed 冯义兴, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leendert Borg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirstein Luvard in the 33rd minute of the match. If Ted Kamps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leendert Borg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Boutrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Kamps came free, but Henning Sæmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Frits Platvoet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Henning Sæmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ted Kamps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sindre Walle made a kick off. After 58 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Stijn Bijlsma. Ed 冯义兴 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Sæmer having to interfere. Kirstein Luvard charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kirstein Luvard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henning Sæmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Hebert, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute, Sindre Walle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nordsjælland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ted Kamps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Henning Sæmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ed 冯义兴 came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Albertus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ed 冯义兴 couldn't finish the play. After having played for 88 minutes, Ted Kamps managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albertus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Kamps was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kirstein Luvard came free, but Leendert Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henning Sæmer came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Albertus FC's Frits Platvoet. But to his dismay, Frits Platvoet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ed 冯义兴 in the 96th minute of play.
