The referee ignored FC Nordsjælland's protests and gave Karl Hermer a yellow card for diving instead. A.A. Cachila's Lorenzo Fidele was substituted for Hector Napier. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Karl Hermer got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ernesto Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirstein Luvard, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Vilhelm Liep shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Sesuldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when A.A. Cachila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, A.A. Cachila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Fidele to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sindre Walle, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Mendiko in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Sæmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eusebio Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Karl Hermer with Sindre Walle as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ernesto Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sindre Walle in the 44th minute of the match. When FC Nordsjælland's Sindre Walle in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.A. Cachila's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Mendiko to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper Ernesto Sesuldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frede Holts. Pablo Bernhoft kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Eusebio Mendiko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A. Cachila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Mendiko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henning Sæmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Nereo Eleder charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Eleder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when A.A. Cachila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes A.A. Cachila got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Quintin. Nereo Eleder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Sæmer having to interfere. FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Mendiko in the 82nd minute of play. After 87 played minutes FC Nordsjælland got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Svensson. Atilano Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusebio Mendiko took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henning Sæmer. Henning Sæmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Many of FC Nordsjælland's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Nordsjælland may have spent more time on the ball, but A.A. Cachila were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
