An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirstein Luvard in the 9th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Leendert Borg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Sæmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Schiphouwer in the 14th minute of play. FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Schiphouwer in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Frits Platvoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Sæmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Frits Platvoet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Sæmer. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anders Boutrup to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Albertus FC's protests and gave Edgard Schiphouwer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Schiphouwer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Boutrup came free, but Leendert Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
