But to his dismay, Ulf Hedling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 23rd minute Edmund Püss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donato Vachon charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
