An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Gaskon in the 26th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Benigno Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Severino Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Beltza hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Florencio Felo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Mainumby's Amadeo Olivar tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Gaskon in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Ilazki saved Mainumby from getting behind. Benigno Ilazki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Isaac Urtungo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Urtungo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Isaac Urtungo got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 68th minute, one of Mainumby:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mainumby. The referee gave Celestiales a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isidoro Javiero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mainumby's Benigno Ilazki. 2-0. Conrado Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Albano Felipillo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Ilazki skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Celestiales's Rigoberto Cristofor got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Mainumby's Amadeo Olivar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Celestiales's Severino Gaskon in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
