The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cleto Ferran charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Ferran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Ferran. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Cleto Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrez Widdepenninck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck got free with Arnoldo Kismi in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Ferran came free, but Andrez Widdepenninck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dany-Adams Van Halssbeecks short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Arnoldo Kismi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cleto Ferran got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 35 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Ferran. After 43 minutes, Joris Lanphant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limburg United and the C. A. Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joris Lanphant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Limburg United's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbie Van Beylen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Kismi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fidel Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Rodolfo Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Atlanta and the Limburg United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Joris Lanphant got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck in the 65th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Dolfos's late challenge caught a Limburg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Etxepare hit a great ball. Arnoldo Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck in the 87th minute of the match. If Josef Van Huele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joris Lanphant, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Although Limburg United had been in control for most of the match, C. A. Atlanta still came away with the win.
