Leonides Donostia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C Ａ R D I N Ａ L. Angel Senon might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingvar Hellkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Senon ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelo Rage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonides Donostia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Rage in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Senon in the 19th minute of play forced C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Ingvar Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Angel Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Prensadito Fulbo Clu got a corner. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Osvaldo Tab ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Osvaldo Tab almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Ingvar Hellkvist did a great save. In the 25th minute Diego Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Donostia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Angelo Rage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonides Donostia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Rage's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. German Haritzeder's late challenge caught a C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Haritzeder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Prensadito Fulbo Clu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Haritzeder to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Angelo Rage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Donostia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Donostia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Rage in the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Prensadito Fulbo Clu defense, Angelo Rage kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Donostia. The Prensadito Fulbo Clu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Donostia should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Bernardino Odon got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prensadito Fulbo Clu's goalkeeper Leonides Donostia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diego Armando Maradona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Donostia having to make a save. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when Prensadito Fulbo Clu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Domeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Donostia made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Diego Armando Maradona sent off a good shot on target. Diego Armando Maradona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Donostia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahsin Paksu to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Rage charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Rage the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Angelo Rage got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Diego Armando Maradona notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Leonides Donostia. Leonides Donostia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Angelo Rage came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Rage couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Osvaldo Tab in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Angelo Rage. Angelo Rage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Donostia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 88th minute of play. Victorino Gines charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Gines the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorino Gines kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Diego Armando Maradona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Donostia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Diego Armando Maradona rounded Prensadito Fulbo Clu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Leonides Donostia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Rage in the 96th minute. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C Ａ R D I N Ａ L would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
