Tobias Natal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vlad Covrig came out and tried to block the shot, but Tobias Natal slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Honorato Federigo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Vlad Covrig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanacos. 28 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Tebaldo came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Gurlui to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Sanduru hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Natal in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's George Gurlui got a free kick in the 37th minute. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Salbatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mircea Jupân hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Honorato Federigo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vlad Covrig, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Natal was the one to do the kick off. Candido Meder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Jupân, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guanacos's Tobias Natal got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Federigo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlad Covrig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Honorato Federigo sped through PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vlad Covrig. In the 61st minute, Honorato Federigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Federigo in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorato Federigo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Covrig saved PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Tebaldo came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Honorato Federigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vlad Covrig. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Federigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience was convinced that Tobias Natal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vlad Covrig was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Federigo in the 76th minute of the match. Guanacos's Melchor Dimo was substituted for Genaro Tebaldo. Guanacos's Lucas Iratze was substituted for Honorato Federigo. The corner led Guanacos's Gustavo Berdoi to fire away a dangerous shot which Vlad Covrig despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute Tobias Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Natal came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Berdoi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Guanacos's Gustavo Berdoi to fire away a dangerous shot which Vlad Covrig despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vlad Covrig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Natal's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Guanacos had played much better football throughout.
