The referee ignored Olivos Futbol Club's protests and gave Honorio Elodio a yellow card for diving instead. Honorio Elodio kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Gino de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Bernardinho de Senna hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Quintun came free, but Dráusio Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráusio Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Quintun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Luisito Quintun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dráusio Oliveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvano Federigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino de Lima in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivos Futbol Club's goalkeeper Silvano Federigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute Benedicto Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Federigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gino de Lima was the one to do the kick off.
