The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardo Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Bedirhan İrfanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, David Nyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Jaime Cabral got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Rodriguinho Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börge Kristiansson in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráusio Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Ricardo Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Rodriguinho Gonçalves in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Strömsbro IF's Ola Ahlbom. In the 24th minute Cristóvão Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 38 in the game by Börge Kristiansson from a close distance when the talented Dráusio Oliveira managed to make a qualified save. Izaltina FAD's players were relieved. Börge Kristiansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Dráusio Oliveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Uno Blomkvist hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Gonçalves hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th play minute Börge Kristiansson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dráusio Oliveira. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uno Blomkvist made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börge Kristiansson in the 58th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Kristiansson in the 59th minute of play. If David Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Rafael Nunes replaced Rodriguinho Gonçalves. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Bruse hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Dráusio Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uno Blomkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Ricardo Pires came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Izaltina FAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Pires couldn't finish the play. Dráusio Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uno Blomkvist in the 83rd minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Gustaf Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Paranaense hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Börge Kristiansson took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráusio Oliveira. Dráusio Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Osmar Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Albohm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Izaltina FAD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Strömsbro IF.
