An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Merentiel in the 2nd minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's David Nyman got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Börge Kristiansson hit a great ball. Ivar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinson Cavani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uno Blomkvist in the 20th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Jatsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börge Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Amadeo Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Aarón Anselmino came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes Strömsbro IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolás Valentini who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börge Kristiansson got free with Amadeo Jatsu in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Strömsbro IF's Börge Kristiansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amadeo Jatsu. Amadeo Jatsu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. David Nyman charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Nyman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. David Nyman hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Nicolás Valentini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Albohm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 47th minute of the match Börge Kristiansson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Börge Kristiansson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 48 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Börge Kristiansson. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Corderall was the one to do the kick off. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Strömsbro IF from getting a goal against them. In the 55th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Nyman to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Evaristo Loramendi in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Strömsbro IF's Gunnar Bergstedt. 60 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edinson Cavani came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Merentiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The throw-in from Evaristo Loramendi in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Strömsbro IF's Gunnar Bergstedt. Uno Blomkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Jatsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. With his leg Ivar Albohm managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Abuba Akotonon FC's Miguel Merentiel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. David Nyman hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Alexander Bruse got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Edinson Cavani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinson Cavani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Albohm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Cavani in the 85th minute of play. Ivar Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Cavani in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute Miguel Merentiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
