But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Faria couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Zapolski came free, but Dráusio Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szczakowianka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maciej Haszczak in the 20th minute. Bernardo Correia thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Dráusio Oliveira, a very annoying self made goal in the 20th minute which led to 0-1. Tomasz Rutkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino de Lima in the 23rd minute. Dráusio Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szczakowianka's Tomasz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino de Lima in the 28th minute of play. Ricardinho Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Haszczak in the 30th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Szczakowianka were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Szczakowianka's Tomasz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino de Lima in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Izaltina FAD's zone, Zdzislaw Cetnar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráusio Oliveira came out of the goal and Zdzislaw Cetnar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Karol Zapolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szczakowianka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Dráusio Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Zapolski in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gino de Lima during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Gino de Lima got a free kick in the 70th minute. Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Kluska in the 77th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Correia. In the 80th minute, Maciej Haszczak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira got control of the ball when Maciej Haszczak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Szczakowianka booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th match minute, Szczakowianka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Burdzel to maneuver through the defense. Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Kluska in the 89th minute of play. Izaltina FAD's Denílson Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
