Ton Meulman hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Los Hornos's Pedro Pierres shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Albino Maiorga but with some difficulty. Roberto Iruinea kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Everardo Francho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Gonzo's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 8 minutes, Santo Gonzo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Hornos's Everardo Francho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Tolek Mlekodaj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Francho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Gonzo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Francho saved Los Hornos from getting behind. Everardo Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Mlekodaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Santo Gonzo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Gonzo couldn't finish the play. Los Hornos's Everardo Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ton Meulman in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Santo Gonzo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Los Hornos's Everardo Francho. Everardo Francho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Everardo Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Mlekodaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Albino Maiorga made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Aureliano Oroitz sent off a good shot on target. Everardo Francho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolek Mlekodaj went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 36thth minute of the game Santo Gonzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Hornos's Everardo Francho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Tolek Mlekodaj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Francho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 44 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Gonzo came free, but Everardo Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Oroitz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliano Oroitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ton Meulman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Francho having to interfere.
The wind increased when Tolek Mlekodaj made the kick off in the second half. Santo Gonzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Everardo Francho made a huge save. Everardo Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Mlekodaj in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Pedro Pierres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Hornos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pomelo Nenene the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Los Hornos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Pierres to maneuver through the defense. Juan Bautista hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Mlekodaj came free, but Everardo Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Pece Etoo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Elivareo during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute Gaspar Pomelov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Pomelo Nenene left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Hornos.
