The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Margarito Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Vides in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horace Vaughn in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio de Azevedo saved BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goal looked a bit too open when Horace Vaughn came free, but Sérgio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Vides came free, but Margarito Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luiz Vides in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Margarito Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Margarito Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Vides in the 31st minute of play. Cafu de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horace Vaughn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the game, Hal Chatman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flames FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BMB IMOVEIS SC the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horace Vaughn made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Flames FC's goalkeeper Margarito Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Lavallée to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrose Keen in the 70th minute of play forced BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrose Keen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sérgio de Azevedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of BMB IMOVEIS SC booed when Flames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerrod Staples didn't get a good kick on the ball. Margarito Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Flames FC's Margarito Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu de Senna in the 81st minute of play. Ambrose Keen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Sérgio de Azevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emanuel Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Margarito Santana having to interfere. With his leg Sérgio de Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Flames FC's Ambrose Keen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd match minute, BMB IMOVEIS SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Vidal to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BMB IMOVEIS SC had played much better football throughout.
