Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Epifanio Hermelando took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remus Munteanu. Fidel Tadzio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Munteanu in the 5th minute. Fidel Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Balaban in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Academia 1903 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fausto Pero hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionel Lung. Ionel Lung scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Tadzio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto Pero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Munteanu came free, but Fidel Tadzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihail Gherdan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Fidel Tadzio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pompiliu Balaban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fidel Tadzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Fausto Pero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia 1903 and the FC Buzău players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when Academia 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pompiliu Balaban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fidel Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Munteanu in the 51st minute of play. Fidel Tadzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Munteanu in the 54th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Mihail Gherdan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pompiliu Balaban in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Tadzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Lung came free, but Fidel Tadzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Groza. Academia 1903's Placido Garin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ciprian Ghioane but with some difficulty. 67 minutes into the match, Ionel Lung had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Tadzio. Academia 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionel Lung was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 73 minutes into the game, Gavril Groza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Buzău's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia 1903 the free kick. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gavril Groza hit a great ball. Fidel Tadzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Balaban, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 played minutes Academia 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Siro Orlanda. Fidel Tadzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Munteanu in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Lung in the 81st minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Lung in the 82nd minute of play. Siro Orlanda kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ionel Lung blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Tadzio having to make a save.
