Ciprian Ghioane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Uzuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cato Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Gherdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Bladi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ciprian Ghioane made a huge save. Cato Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Balaban in the 22nd minute of play. Melchor Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when El retorno del Pincha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Ticho didn't get a good kick on the ball. El retorno del Pincha's Cato Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Munteanu in the 32nd minute of play. FC Buzău's Mădălin Pascariu suffered a sore thigh after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Melchor Uzuri fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El retorno del Pincha's protests and gave Melchor Uzuri a yellow card for diving instead. Cato Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Lung in the 42nd minute of the match. After 47 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Stancu. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Bladi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cato Goiano was a little too slow when Pompiliu Balaban got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 55th minute Mihail Gherdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cato Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Buzău's Mihail Gherdan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cato Goiano. That made the score 0-2 after 58 minutes of play. Ciprian Ghioane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Groza. Jonas Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of El retorno del Pincha booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Stancu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cato Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Balaban, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the El retorno del Pincha defense, Remus Munteanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cato Goiano. The El retorno del Pincha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cato Goiano should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, FC Buzău's Cato Goiano threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tudor Stancu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pompiliu Balaban hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Buzău eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
