Enhebrator FC's Dante Dantae proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Enhebrator FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Enhebrator FC's Dante Dantae got control of the ball when Ariel Burko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Rafael Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Dantae was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Matias Catalan. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Matias Catalan got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Enhebrator FC's Vinícius Dembélé made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albino Nofre was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 played minutes, Talleres's Fernando Laurgain shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Dantae came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talleres reached it. When Maximo Solustiano came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Solustiano couldn't finish the play. Dante Dantae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Burko in the 28th minute. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talleres's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baltasar Oliveiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Enhebrator FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Paul-Henri van Nistelrooij managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Maximo Solustiano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Talleres's Ariel Burko in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 57 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Solustiano. Enhebrator FC's Dante Dantae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Diaz in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Talleres got a corner. Enhebrator FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Laurgain ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Maximo Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
