Apolo Larrañaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Ledesma in the 11th minute of the match. Basilio Ticho made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Tanio Lezaeta sent off a good shot on target. Anselmo Garmendia's late challenge caught a Tigres Ñacuñán FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Garmendia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Luisito Dalmu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Larrañaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Dalmu in the 34th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Larrañaga came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Ismael Galtero. But to his dismay, Ismael Galtero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 42nd minute Ismael Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Larrañaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Galtero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Freddy Ireno made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tigres Ñacuñán FC booed when Talcampeón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Francisco Maffey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 51 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Freddy Ireno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Larrañaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Ireno in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Constantino Ledesma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tigres Ñacuñán FC and the Talcampeón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when Tigres Ñacuñán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Ledesma didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Ireno in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Larrañaga saved Talcampeón FC from getting behind. Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Gudesteo in the 70th minute of play. Ismael Galtero scored 0-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Larrañaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Luisito Dalmu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Apolo Larrañaga. That made the score 0-5 after 76 minutes of play. 80 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Cross came free, but Basilio Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Oscar Truylos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The long shot by Fabricio Lamberto in the 85th minute really tested Apolo Larrañaga's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tanio Lezaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Galtero. After a defensive mix-up in Talcampeón FC's zone, Ismael Galtero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Larrañaga came out of the goal and Ismael Galtero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Dalmu in the 94th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Luisito Dalmu notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga. Apolo Larrañaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
