Vadim Macovei made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Giorgos Maragozis sent off a good shot on target. Kerkyra FC's Loukas Kois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Creangã in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Dadu in the 25th minute of play forced Kerkyra FC's goalkeeper Loukas Kois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugen Tabãrã hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Maragozis to maneuver through the defense. Loukas Kois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Creangã, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iosif Creangã made a kick off. With an all-out effort, FC Truseni's Loukas Kois threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mircea Dadu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 54th minute, Kerkyra FC's Takis Kanavidis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Takis Kanavidis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kerkyra FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Takis Kanavidis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Eugen Tabãrã recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kerkyra FC's Loukas Kois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Kerkyra FC from getting a goal against them. Vassilis Katsourinis kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Loukas Kois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Dadu in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyriakos Lavdas to maneuver through the defense. Marinos Katsiaros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vadim Macovei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Truseni's Mihail Cepoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Loukas Kois. That made the score 1-1 after 78 minutes of play. Loukas Kois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Dadu in the 82nd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Mihail Cepoi made a precise shot to the right of Loukas Kois. Kerkyra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Marinos Katsiaros kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Truseni walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
