Benjy Frei helped the player get up and apologised. Alexandros Frei struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ramiro Erasto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denti della Vecchia. Ramiro Erasto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Frei, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Generoso Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a rather tough play, Los Muchachos del 86's Joel Pabla got a free kick in the 31st minute. 45 minutes into the game, Denti della Vecchia's Alexandros Frei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Erasto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Owain Fossati made a kick off. The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when Denti della Vecchia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ansgar Bizier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven von Rohr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandros Frei in the 59th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Ramiro Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Alexandros Frei recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramiro Erasto. Ramiro Erasto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Owain Fossati went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Denti della Vecchia played a much better game than Los Muchachos del 86 and deserved their victory. The Los Muchachos del 86 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
