Randkleve's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Örebro FF. Rutger Magnusson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niki Boldsø in the 15th minute of play forced Örebro FF's goalkeeper Ivan Turina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eilif Hørmand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Rutger Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilif Hørmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Örebro FF's Rutger Magnusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eilif Hørmand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 24 minutes of play, Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eilif Hørmand was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Randkleve booed when Örebro FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Turina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niki Boldsø in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Rutger Magnusson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Örebro FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 34th minute Rutger Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilif Hørmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Örebro FF got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Chiose. After some careless play in the Randkleve defense, Rutger Magnusson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eilif Hørmand. The Randkleve fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eilif Hørmand should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niki Boldsø to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gaafar Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Örebro FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaafar Jesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eilif Hørmand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Magnusson in the 57th minute of play forced Randkleve's goalkeeper Eilif Hørmand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Randkleve's Eilif Hørmand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Randkleve from getting a goal against them. Andrei Chiose kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ivan Turina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Boldsø in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Niki Boldsø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Turina was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Niki Boldsø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Rutger Magnusson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eilif Hørmand. Rutger Magnusson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. In the 83rd minute, Rutger Magnusson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eilif Hørmand was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Rutger Magnusson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eilif Hørmand. That made the score 1-8 in the 91 minute of play. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by Elias Rullhøj with Tristan Brincks as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Randkleve getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nikolas Blegaa hit a great ball. Gaafar Jesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Örebro FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
