After some careless play in the Jarana FC defense, Christian Halstensen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Primo. The Jarana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Primo should have stopped the shot. When Rolando Todor fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarana FC's protests and gave Rolando Todor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rakkestad IF booed when Jarana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Todor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Halstensen got free with Elpidio Primo in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Jarana FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rolando Todor hit a great ball. Martinez Maravilha took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Friis. Kenneth Friis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Hans-Petter Krogh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Primo was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Rolando Todor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Friis having to interfere. Jarana FC's Rolando Todor got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Rolando Todor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kenneth Friis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Rakkestad IF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Steffen Haukås hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Rolando Todor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Friis. Rakkestad IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolando Todor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jarana FC's Paolo Fernendo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Steffen Haukås, made in the 39th minute of the game. After 43 minutes, Hans-Petter Krogh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rakkestad IF and the Jarana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hans-Petter Krogh hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Gervasio Oier made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Friis. Rakkestad IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The Rakkestad IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jarana FC were winning 1-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Todor made a kick off. Rakkestad IF's Kenneth Friis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Rakkestad IF from getting a goal against them. Kenneth Friis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. In the 73rd minute, Angelo Di María hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Rolando Todor took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Kenneth Friis to make any attempt to save it. Jarana FC's Angelo Di María managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Steffen Haukås in the 81 minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's Rolando Todor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Friis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Todor struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Kenneth Friis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarana FC. In the 87th minute, Rolando Todor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenneth Friis made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Martinez Maravilha sent off a good shot on target. Martinez Maravilha kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
