Paolo Fernendo's late challenge caught a HALO HANGZHOU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Fernendo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of HALO HANGZHOU booed when Jarana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. HALO HANGZHOU's 余泉天 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perry Eneto in the 39th minute of play. Claudio Haimar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 余泉天. HALO HANGZHOU's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yu Hong Bo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Perry Eneto ran back to his position shaking his head. Perry Eneto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but 余泉天 made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jarana FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
