That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. If Nils-Emil Engman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Botello was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Lars-Erik Brogren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lars-Erik Brogren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Edgardo Botello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sonny Ek in the 35th minute. Jaime Tallia's late challenge caught a Älta BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Tallia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Deportivo Pucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Tallia to maneuver through the defense. Sonny Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Botello having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
