After 6 played minutes Med Gang FC got a freekick which was hit by Harry Axelsson. With an all-out effort, Med Gang FC's Davide Cavaliere threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ragnar Löfgren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edvard Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Bobbio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Penna came free, but Edvard Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Arne Lund hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Franco Bobbio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvard Fågel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Davide Cavaliere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Vedholm in the 38th minute of play. In the last second Davide Cavaliere throw himself and got hold of the ball when Emanuel Vedholm in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Emanuel Vedholm, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Davide Cavaliere was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alberigo Di Nucci's late challenge caught a Med Gang FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Di Nucci helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 46 minutes, Ragnar Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Med Gang FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ragnar Löfgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Penna made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goalkeeper Edvard Fågel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberigo Di Nucci. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Edvard Fågel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 61 played minutes Med Gang FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Kullander. After a defensive mix-up in Med Gang FC's zone, Angelo Scalabrino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Fågel came out of the goal and Angelo Scalabrino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberigo Di Nucci's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edvard Fågel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ragnar Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Cavaliere having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Med Gang FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Eckegren. The crowd rose to their feet as Dexter Morgan VR46's Franco Bobbio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edvard Fågel. That made the score 1-3 after 71 minutes of play. In the 75th minute Ragnar Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Cavaliere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sammartino charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Sammartino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Dexter Morgan VR46 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sammartino to maneuver through the defense. If Emanuel Vedholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Med Gang FC's Ronny Drake got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Alberigo Di Nucci hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Med Gang FC's Edvard Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Bobbio in the 89th minute of play. A hard shot 98 in the game by Franco Bobbio from a close distance when the talented Edvard Fågel managed to make a qualified save. Med Gang FC's players were relieved. Dexter Morgan VR46 played a much better game than Med Gang FC and deserved their victory. The Med Gang FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
