A collision led to Aves Negras getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sebastian Abaurre hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aves Negras's zone, Sven-Edvin Karlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Martxot came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Karlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Herman Ahlström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Alstedt came free, but Edelmiro Martxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herman Ahlström struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Edelmiro Martxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StraX Xenon FC. 19 minutes into the game, StraX Xenon FC's Herman Ahlström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Martxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aves Negras's Edelmiro Martxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Alstedt in the 21st minute of play. Ingvar Gadd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustav Alstedt in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Martxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edelmiro Martxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Alstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ingvar Gadd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Edelmiro Martxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Gustav Alstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Edelmiro Martxot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half StraX Xenon FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herman Ahlström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Alstedt came free, but Edelmiro Martxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aleksander Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aves Negras's goalkeeper Edelmiro Martxot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edelmiro Martxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Ahlström in the 66th minute of the match. Herman Ahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Martxot having to interfere. Anders Sjöberg hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Gustav Alstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman Ahlström struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Edelmiro Martxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StraX Xenon FC. In the 82nd minute, Herman Ahlström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edelmiro Martxot, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Gadd in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Martxot saved Aves Negras from getting behind. After some careless play in the Aves Negras defense, Gustav Alstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Martxot. The Aves Negras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Martxot should have stopped the shot. Edelmiro Martxot didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Ingvar Gadd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman Ahlström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Edelmiro Martxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. StraX Xenon FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
