Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Luiz Souto got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Marciano Ubelteso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rômulo Camargo. Barra EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marciano Ubelteso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of Barra EC booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Ubelteso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Pedro Luiz Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Normando took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rômulo Camargo. Rômulo Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Edinho Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Barra EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Souto to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Normando came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rômulo Camargo could save by the left post. Honorato Normando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rômulo Camargo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Marciano Ubelteso made a precise shot to the right of Rômulo Camargo. Barra EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 42 minutes of play, C. A. Potrero's Marciano Ubelteso made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rômulo Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Honorato Normando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rômulo Camargo was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Barra EC defense, Honorato Normando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo Camargo. The Barra EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo Camargo should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute, Dito Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Honorato Normando sped through Barra EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rômulo Camargo. In the 62nd minute, Honorato Normando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Potrero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Justo Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barra EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Loyola in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Manuel Loyola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Justo Dunixi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marciano Ubelteso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Souto. In the 80th minute, Honorato Normando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Potrero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. In the 83rd minute Honorato Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well placed Pedro Luiz Souto short distance shot in the 85th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After 89 minutes, Lucas Constancio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Potrero and the Barra EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 88 minutes into the game, one of C. A. Potrero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, Barra EC's Manuel Loyola got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Justo Dunixi. Rômulo Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Normando in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that C. A. Potrero were the better team. C. A. Potrero's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
