After 28 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by La Colabianchi. Alejo Gaspard made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Erkki Leesment sent off a good shot on target. Alejo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkki Leesment in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Alejo Gaspard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erkki Leesment. Alejo Gaspard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkki Leesment in the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Luganeros AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernst Võsandi was slow to take the kick. During this time Grimório's players had a chance to rest. In the 46th minute, Freddy Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erkki Leesment to make the kick off. In the 70th minute Erkki Leesment shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Grant Verga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luganeros AFC and the Grimório players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grimório booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grant Verga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mait Velt came free, but Alejo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Grimório fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopold Jaanus in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Grimório had played much better football throughout.
